Descripción

Set against the vibrant backdrop of the Lunar New Year in the 1990s, this story transports readers to a time when traditions thrived and supernatural encounters loomed just on the horizon. The narrative intertwines the cultural richness of the celebration with the chilling whispers of a vampire legend, predating the infamous Dracula.

As ancient lore meets contemporary life, characters navigate the delicate balance between festivity and the ominous presence of Carmilla. The blend of tradition and terror unfolds in a manner that highlights the fears and desires of the young protagonists, driving them to confront myths and the dark truths they may embody.

Amidst fireworks and family gatherings, Carmilla emerges as a formidable figure, captivating and terrifying in equal measure. The allure and darkness of her character challenge the very essence of the celebrations, inviting readers to explore what lurks within the shadows of both the past and present.

Being a fan of Dracula I went into this with extremely HIGH expectations but...It just didn't live up to the standard.I kinda had already figured out who the villain was when they were introduced into the story. That alone was a buzz kill for me.With that being said this wasn't a "meh" read ;the artworks were fascinating and it was easy to read.Soooooo... this probably falls under "T'was good...."
