Cooper Collection 199

In a strange turn of events, Matt experiences a reversal of fortune when he gets a letter from a Sacramento lawyer summoning him to his office. As it turns out, Matt was not the first one to create the hat cam that he had sold to the state law enforcement agencies and which had brought him all his wealth. He's forced to give up all his royalties and is cast back to square one. Meanwhile, Nick answers a call as a result of recent television commercials for Cooper Investigations. He finds himself being offered a lucrative job from the very person who got Matt's millions. What will the future hold for the Coopers now that Veronica will be leaving due to her pregnancy and Nick has taken that other job. Matt will soon find himself alone and the sole proprietor back in the very office his great-grandfather and namesake, Matt started all those years ago by himself.

Author's note: When I finished Cooper story #89, "The Hollister Story," I thought I'd run out of Cooper ideas. Obviously not, as I found 110 more stories hiding in the back of my mind. However, I've come to that same crossroads in my writing career again and I'm starting to feel like this could be it for the Coopers...for now anyway. #200 in the collection is going to be another retrospective of stories 101-199, much like I did for the first retrospective, which covered stories 1-99.

Let me just toss out another idea to some of you creative writers out there. Would any of you budding writers care to collaborate with me on future Cooper stories? Even if you're just a good idea person who is familiar with the Cooper clan, you can supply the idea, or a rough draft and I can polish it to its final state.
