Descripción

In a quiet town that feels like any other, a sudden and terrifying change threatens to unravel the safety of everyday life. Cujo, a once-friendly dog, now grapples with a horrifying transformation that stems from a fateful encounter with a rabid bat. As his gentle nature dissolves into a primal menace, the lives of those around him hang in the balance.

The tension escalates when a mother and her young son find themselves trapped in their car, surrounded by the creature they thought they knew. With escalating dread and the sweltering heat intensifying their desperation, the real horror emerges—not just from a dog's bite but from the shadows of fear that lurk within the boundaries of their town.

This heart-pounding tale captures helplessness, survival, and the thin line separating normalcy from chaos. It's a gripping exploration of how quickly life can spiral into a nightmare, drawing readers into a whirlwind of emotion and suspense that only King can deliver.

I expected this to be scarier. Not that it was *bad* in any way, but it was not at all what I had been expecting when I picked it up. Instead of giving me nightmares, it just made me sad. Easily the most realistic Stephen King book I've ever read, though I'm disinclined to believe that is an entirely positive statement.
