Ver todoThis book is not for everyone. I feel like you will either love it or think it's trash. Anyone riding the fence is probably struggling with accepting who they are as a person. And I say that with the deepest of understanding. It's raw, gritty and emotional. I found myself angry, and sad, excited and terrified. The first interaction with Søren was intimidating. I felt nervous just reading about him...as if I was daring to look him in the eyes. I don't know the last time I ever had that sort of feeling just reading about a character walking into a room. The ending is not "Traditional." But it is erotica...it's all about the growth and the journey, not about the destination. I couldn't help but feel for Nora, poor Nora...she kept trying to pour from an empty cup. She gave and gave but never seemed to get anything in return...just more and more heartache. Her life was an uphill struggle. She seemed lost without Søren. I don't know about anyone else, but I was really rooting for her to finally realize what she needed to move on. But life is twisty and tricky that way.
