Dead Dogs

Harley Neal is in love with Beau LaFollette, star pitcher, leading RBI producer, and team captain of Woodfield High School's baseball team, The Nighthawks. And he is in love with her.

All is well in Harley's world...until one dark night a mangy dog turns up dead in her driveway. Harley doesn't know it yet, but the lifeless animal is a message. But what does it mean?

As more dogs appear, Harley finds herself traveling a dark road, searching for a truth that will reveal much about love, life...and death.
