Debra Doesn't Take the Dare

Children today are constantly faced with moral and values oriented decisions, and peer pressure often makes it difficult for them to make the right choices. This book tells the story of Debra who is pressured to drink a bottle of beer as part of her initiation to the Cool Girls Club. Debra knows that drinking beer is wrong, but she really wants to join the club. As children read through the story they will learn how Debra withstands the pressure to conform and stands up for herself and what she knows is right. The advice in this book can help children deal with all kinds of difficult decisions with self-confidence and a positive attitude.
