Descent

I read book 1 first and then decided to read this Novella... How I wish I had read this first - On some sites this is chronologically numbered as a #0.5 Novella on others its a #1.5 Novella. I Recommend that this book is read FIRST, Before Hidden Wings, as reading this book made the story more interesting - luckily the gap between is short so my head was 'Ahhhh Now I understand!'I enjoyed the book from start to finish, Ms Renae has me eager to read Book 1 again - so I can get more out of it.The best part of this story is we get the foundations of what the series is about, one of the criticisms I had in book 1, doesn't sound so unbelievable now, after reading this book.4.5 StarsIn this book we learn about Alaine's parents, how they met and then also how Emma's parents meet and ends at the point where Hidden Wings begins. We learn more about the Fallen and the Nephilim.I must say that Ms Renae's Cover Designs for the book series are beautiful and they do what a Cover is supposed to do - draw your eye so you read the synopsis. The book is written in 3 POV which is easy to understand, being Chapter headings so its Plain who the POV is from.In finishing I am looking forward to reading the next installment. ***Review has been done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official.
