Die Dancing

Once more the dark underside of the criminal world clashes with the everyday minutiae in the life of Dr Clare Burtonall. While she is busy thinking of ways to monopolize her hired lover, Bonn, the "fixer" Dulsie is learning the hard way that this time he's gone too far. When Inspector Hassell finds his crucified body, the detective knows immediately what he's dealing with. However, the same cannot be said for Clare, whose name is linked to the murder by chance, and who is as yet unaware that the clandestine sponsor of her new surgery is the very agency from which she hires Bonn.
