I’ve always kept my eye on the road and my focus on my brothers.
But ever since Cookie set foot in our clubhouse kitchen, I’ve been losing my damn mind.
She’s got curves for days, a smile that could wreck a man,
and she cooks like she was sent to tempt the devil himself.

But I’ve been aware for a long time that she’s trying to distract us from something darker.
There’s something she’s hiding behind those bright eyes.
She thinks I haven’t noticed the way she flinches when the doors slam.
Or how she disappears when things go down at the clubhouse.
But I see everything.
And I’ve been watching her like I hawk.

She doesn’t belong here.
Doesn’t even give me the time of day.
But I want to keep her anyway.
And if her secrets put the club in danger…
Then I’ll burn the world down before I let anyone take her from me.
