Chaos has broken out at Brentwood High. Police vehicles with flashing lights and screaming sirens are filling the parking lot and an ambulance pulls up in front of the school. Izzy Mooney, class clown, bursts into the broadcast news room babbling about threats, panic and bloodshed.
One student is dead; one is charged with murder and both claim allegiance to a gang. Darby, Izzy, Jake and the rest of the broadcast news team are stunned by the sudden outbreak of violence in their school. They take on the task of addressing the issue that has no clear answers. The gang members don’t like them snooping around, however, and someone innocent might get hurt.
