Descripción

Andrew "Ender" Wiggin is a gifted child recruited into a highly secretive military program designed to prepare humanity for an impending alien threat. What he believes are mere games are actually intense simulations that test his strategic mind and leadership skills. As he navigates a series of increasingly challenging scenarios, Ender grapples with the moral implications of his actions and the weight of expectations placed upon him as the potential savior of humanity.

This gripping tale explores themes of isolation, identity, and the burdens of genius. Ender's journey shines a light on the struggles of a young mind caught between the demands of his superiors and his own conscience. Throughout his training, he forges complex relationships with his peers, which ultimately shape his understanding of empathy and sacrifice in a brutal world. The story invites readers to reflect on the cost of victory and the true nature of humanity in the face of survival.

Honestly one of my favorite sci-fi novels. I enjoyed the development of Ender as he undergoes many conflicts both internal and external. It also gives some insight into the strains of being a leader and thinking outside the box while constantly taking the welfare of your subordinates into consideration. I recommend it, especially since it's an easy read that isn't too long.

While it's violent, crude, and different at times it is a great read. I felt so sorry for Ender, Valentine, Petra, Alai and the others. And I have yet to decide if Graff was good.............

Ender's Game was recommended for me and I managed to borrow a copy so I could complete my Pick-it-for-me challenge this month ... and I realized after reaing it how much I have been neglecting the SciFi genre. This was a wonderful novel, it was entertaining and frustrating at the same time. Ender is a young boy, that the military thinks can save the world from the Buggers. To pull out his potential leadership skill this poor young thing is isolated and turned into a military genius ...
