Descripción

Mason and Logan Kade are inseparable brothers navigating the turbulent halls of Fallen Crest High. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they encounter Samantha, a fiercely independent girl with a past that shapes her every move. As she tries to find her place amidst the chaos of high school drama and social hierarchies, Samantha forms a complicated bond with the brothers.

As her relationship with Mason deepens, Samantha finds herself drawn into the Kade's world, a place where loyalty and betrayal coexist. The brothers, with their troubled family history, become her allies and protectors, but their intensity also complicates her life in ways she never imagined. The dynamics of friendship, love, and rivalry paint a vivid picture of the challenges faced by teenagers striving to find love and acceptance.

Tijan skillfully explores themes of resilience and personal growth in a gritty high school setting. As secrets and loyalties are tested, Samantha is forced to confront her own demons while navigating the complexities of her feelings for the Kade brothers. With each twist and turn, the trio’s journey becomes a gripping exploration of love, friendship, and the price of loyalty.

The stark realities of high school life come alive through Tijan's relatable characters and emotional storytelling. Fallen Crest High is not just a story about romance; it's about the sacrifices made for love and the strength found in the bonds of friendship.

It had it's good and bad pointsSo for a free read, I am happy with reading it, but it's an angsty American drama set in high school. It reminds me of 90210, there are a number of confusing passages where I had to re_read to figure out who's speaking. But then there were great parts that I really liked.Mason and Logan Kade are two brothers who did their own thing. They were rich and opinionated lords of givenofuks. I didn't get the twist at the end, it seemed just a reason for BOOK 2.I think Sam was lucky she had running to help cope with the stress of her life, seriously any 17 yr old dealing with the stuff she did would be in the loony bin. Am I reading book 2, probably not... unless I see a sale on. A good proof read too. As the typos missed were annoying as they are so obvious.
