Fool's Assassin: Book I of the Fitz and the Fool Trilogy

Rating: 4.5Is it a leap to presume Bee isn't exactly human when she is clearly the child of her mother and father? Sure, but also she is so clearly not normal that I find it laughable that Fitz never even conceives of any possibilities. I also believe I started to be very frustrated with the Fool almost right after he reappears. It's been a while since the last Realm to the Elderlings reading, but I do not remember the Fool being so obstinate and single-minded - that's generally Fitz. That said, the rest of this book is exactly what I expect of Hobb's writing as we settle into the life Fitz has finally, happily been given and watch as it progresses until, quite suddenly, everything starts to fall apart.
