John De La Sauveterre, and his wife Joanne, divorce. She employs a Lawyer, Mike Sparrow, who cooks up a plan to accuse John of domestic violence.
Given John's military past, he has to plead guilty to a crime he did not commit. He is ousted from his family home, and limited to contact with his children under supervision in a contact centre.
