Pip’s return to sleuthing had me hooked again! The stakes were higher, and the twists kept coming. Not quite as gripping for me as the first book, but still a fantastic sequel.

I'm not sure how to feel about this book. I loved the first one, this one not so much.I didn't like Pip's sudden change of attitude and the way she changes how she talks and treats people, I also don't like that there is a pushed romance between pip and Ravi, it was done so well in the first book but for this one there relationship feels weird and unnatral. The first 75% of the book was alright nothing too special with a few moments where it gets you thinking, but it is only within the last 25% that the book picks up more and is actually trying to find Jamie.Personally I don't think AGGGTM needed a sequel, the first book would have been good as a stand alone.

I'm going to get straight to the point, this book was very meh to me. After the first book, despite how wildly out there all the theory's amd conclusions were, I was excited to read the second one. But the whole Jamie story was just very lack luster. Pip, was very lack luster. I get that the character was meant to be portrayed as tired, not wanting to go through the whole detective palaver again. But throughout this whole book I was just thinking, what happened to this character? Then she had a complete personality transplant at the end of the book! Honestly I'm going to get whiplash at this rate. Is the third book worth reading? Is this book just suffering from "middle-book-syndrome" or does the series truly just go downhill after the first book?☆☆
