Dear Journal, Things are turning out so much moredifferently than I expected them to be. Honestly, I do not mean that in a bad way. I mean it in the best way possible.Sure, the chemo and radiation treatments are not fun, and I hate the feeling of wanting to puke, but I am not letting it get me down. My roommate, Alicia, and I have become best friends! She and I have so much in common, that it’s not even funny! Our other best friend is named Tara. Just like Alicia and I are, Tara is being treated for Leukemia. We are also spending the entire summer in the hospital. Journal , even though Jenna and Jody hurt me, I am not focusing on them. After all, I have new best friends who like me for me.-Maya
