Nature abhors a vacuum. And the empty throne of Horngard is no exception. In the absence of a king, the land has been given over to bandits, its potential squandered, its people exploited. Strategically important, the powerful Dragon moves to install one of his own dragonkin there—breaking up families to do so.

But there are other forces who covet Horngard. And they will not let it go without a fight. . . .
