Fais semblant d’être le petit ami de Matt Jackson, avait dit mon meilleur ami. Ça va être marrant, avait-il ajouté. Mais il y a tromperie sur la marchandise. Matt n'est qu'une boule de nerfs emplie d'amertume.
Entre sa constante paranoïa d’être pris en photo et son aversion pour les marques d’affection publiques, l’avoir comme petit ami est tout sauf amusant.
Tout le monde était censé être gagnant : une réputation aux petits oignons pour lui, une épine dans le pied de mon père qui pense que personne n’est assez bien pour un Huntington. C'était censé être facile.
J’avais tout prévu...
Enfin, presque tout... M’attacher à Matt ne faisait pas du tout partie du plan. Ni ce qui s’est passé entre nous dans ce jet privé... Oups ?

I pitied Matt not Matthew Jackson when I first encountered him in book one of the series and found Noah Huntingdon III annoying (reminded me too much of an ex). But Trick Play had me seeing through both their facades and I was quickly on their team for victory over bigots and liars who refuse to let either man be themselves. - Eden successfully shows how ghastly it can be to be gay in this world still and pulls at the heart as strings and makes you want to kick a as all at the same time.This whole story like book one had me hooked and wanting more and I got my wish every time I started a new chapter. Once again, I strongly suggest you pick up this book about two souls whose lives haven't gone the way their hopes and dreams had wanted them too. You won't be disappointed and you will love their story.
