India Only Bleeds

A young police officer in Bombay/Mumbai, India, finds himself confronting terrorists in his beloved city. While tackling them, he cannot help recall his father’s and, more important, his grandfather’s work too with the most coveted of police forces in India—the Bombay Police. The bloody aftermath, the meaningless tearing apart of families and trauma of the partition of India in 1947, has been directly witnessed by the grandfather. In spite of the divisive forces, the people of India have evolved into their own closely knit, separate, yet unified, people. This is best witnessed when terrorists professing to be Muslims from Pakistan suddenly attack the city. While tackling them, the police officer appears to have found a more potent, powerful and effective weapon than the Kalashnikovs of the terrorists. He then launches his own jihad, the crusade of bringing peace with such terrorists.
