todo ano é obrigação eu reler esse livro, principalmente em dias que estou triste. Meu favorito de Bridgertons, me sinto dentro de uma comédia romântica, amo os personagens de forma individual, como casal, amo o progresso deles e a dinâmica divertida que tem. Nem consigo resenhar ele de fato pq é mt amor no meu coraçao.

This was one of the more enjoyable Bridgerton books for me, but it still suffered from some of the same problems that keep this series hovering around the middle of the road.
Hyacinth was easily the best part of the book. She was witty, intelligent, stubborn, and actually felt like a fully developed character. Honestly, she was everything I wanted Eloise to be. Her banter with Gareth was fun, and her scenes with Lady Danbury absolutely stole the show. If anything, I wanted more of them and less of the actual romance.
The mystery surrounding the diamonds was entertaining at first, but it never became as important or exciting as I expected. It felt like the book kept building toward something bigger than what we actually got.
As for Gareth... I liked him well enough until I didn't. His endless daddy issues became exhausting after a while, and once he started making decisions for Hyacinth instead of with her, my opinion of him dropped pretty quickly. It wasn't enough to ruin the book, but it definitely stopped me from fully rooting for the romance.
Overall, this was fun, easy to read, and probably one of the stronger Bridgerton installments, but Hyacinth carried this book on her back. Without her, I don't think I would've enjoyed it nearly as much.

Hyacinth é de longe minha Bridgerton favorita, mas sua história fica na segunda posiçao do livros mais queridos, na minha opiniao, perdendo para Francesca.
Adorei a história dos dois, e o modo como o Gareth é um homem esperto, nao mais que Hy, obviamente, mas tem sua dose de inteligencia. Chorei de rir no "Eu amo você, sua boboca". Uma das minhas partes favoritas é quando Violet diz que ela a salvou, naquele periodo em que eles todos estavam de luto pela morte do Edmund. Mas sem duvidas, a minha parte favorita é a relaçao que Hyacinth tem com a Lady Danbury. Achei que o relacionamento da Pen e da Lady D, nao seria superado, mas Hyacinth, assim como a mim, cativou totalmente a Lady D.
O livro tambem ja traz um pequeno gancho e mostra um tanto mais da personalidade do Gregory, quem eu ja me afeiçoei rapidamente, ele deve ter uma personalidade similar a da Hyacinth.
O final me deixou confusa, por ter ficado em aberto, tenho tantas perguntas. Porque a Isabella filha, nao contou a mae sobre as joias encontradas? Acho que jamais saberemos.
