At this point I'm convinced Ai Yazawa woke up every morning and asked herself how she could emotionally destroy her readers before breakfast. The story is heartbreaking without feeling melodramatic because the characters' problems come from who they are and how they love. Nana and Hachi's relationship continues to be the emotional center for me. I don't even care about the romances as much anymore. I just want these two to be okay.
