Ver todoNotorious is an entertaining and good story but was totally different from what I was expecting when I signed up for the ARC. However, despite that, I enjoyed the book and I loved Kurt and Johnny a.k.a. "Velvet the Cowboy" as a couple. The way Kurt takes care of Johnny and keeps him safe is really sweet. My favorite scenes from "Notorious" were when they exchanged their Christmas presents to each other and I absolutely loved the ending of the book. 🩷My favorite quote was this one from chapter 13;“Yeah, okay. Fine. Dress me up. But if you call me Cinderella, we may have to have words.”A note to anyone who may be interested in reading this book. While it's a great romance story and enjoyable read, the story deals with a lot of heavy topics and subject matter and some parts of the book are pretty dark so PLEASE be sure to read the trigger warnings for Notorious before reading. The full trigger warnings and author's note, which explains the reason why Leslie McAdam wrote Notorious can be found on her website: https://www.lesliemcadamauthor.com/*I received an ARC from 1852 Media and am voluntarily leaving a review.
