Descripción
A photo-essay on the small Iowa town of Orange City, founded by Dutch immigrants in 1870. Despite being a distinctly American town, the residents have a deep emotional attachment to their collective Dutch history. The photographer posed members of the community in traditional Dutch costumes, both in the studio and in the social landscape. Photographs by Rene Clement; essays by Clement, James Kennedy, and Jan Donkers. 96 pages; 47 color plates + b&w thumbnails with captions; 9.5 x 13.5 inches.
