Seeing the Light Through the Darkness

Have you ever awoken in the middle of the night to pitch-black darkness? Startled, your heart races! You reach for familiar objects, but your steps are unsure. That’s the feeling you get when your child is struck with a serious illness. What was light is now dark—so dark you can’t see two steps ahead. There are physical, emotional, and spiritual battles on this dark journey. This book is about our family’s experience after our three-year-old son was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. It is about lessons learned along the way, and about the strength God gives, and how he gives it. The purpose is to encourage others going through their own blackout. It is for everyone who knows someone on this dark path, offering ways to help relieve some of the burden.
