Serenity

A middle-aged former child prodigy reduced to being Psychiatrist/Administrator of a sanatorium for the mentally ill who loves her scotch but loathes her patients. An about to retire high school biology teacher who loves her frogs but hates her students, especially boys. A huge black man hiding from the law and a small group of high school kids who have been close friends since kindergarten. All are swirled together in a rattling good tale of mystery, murder and revenge.The small backwater town of Serenity, Georgia is revisited by the remaining friends to unravel the mysterious death of one and the horrific injuries of two others. What these now adult friends discover is ghastly.
