Reseñas
This addition to the Lux series reads like a fan fiction from someone vaguely familiar with JLA's world and writing. The story follows things we already knew and quickly jumps from point to point rather than the slow burn and careful development of the previous books. I felt disappointed at the climax after having wondered what happened to Bethany in the woods that day, because the incident invoked no emotion. It was just written to get it over with. I'm glad Bethany and Dawson were very different from Daemon and Katy, but unfortunately they were quite boring as the story was narrow and mainly focused on them being together and the alien family mad about it. No surprises there. I wish it were condensed into a quarter of the length and then have their perspective after being captured during the years before Katy moves to town. Oh well.
