Descripción

In a land where the weight of gold carries little meaning, Runnel's journey begins in a modest village, cradled in the shadows of towering mountains. This friendless peasant, having known only the simplicity of his rural life, is thrust into an unexpected adventure that challenges the very fabric of his existence. As he steps beyond the familiar contours of his world, Runnel discovers not only the complexities of wealth but also the profound bonds of friendship, honor, and bravery that could reshape his fate.

As Runnel encounters whimsical characters and faces daunting trials, he unravels deeper mysteries tied to his past and the land itself. His transformation from a life of obscurity to one woven with purpose and courage highlights the underlying connections that tie humanity together, even in the most unlikely of circumstances. With each step, he learns that true wealth may not be in gold but in the richness of experience, loyalty, and the courage to forge one's destiny.

Amazing story. Wish that Card went more into this story with the main series. Was very short tho, and kinda just ended/progressed rapidly out of nowhere. Definitely could use expanding into a full series instead of the overly dramatic and borderline teen romance novel (in a weird way) that the main series turned into.
