One of my favourite things about the series is the idea behind the story. The characters have grown up believing that Earth is dangerous, so seeing them explore it for the first time makes the story interesting. I also liked how the series focuses on different characters and their experiences. Each character has their own problems, relationships, and reasons for wanting to survive, which makes them feel more developed.
However, some parts of the series felt slower than others, and I sometimes wanted the story to move faster. There were also moments when certain character decisions were frustrating because they created problems that could have possibly been avoided.
I do prefer the show over the books , but I may be biased because I watched the show first but I over all do think that the show was better at keeping my attention and interest.
