Descripción
tells the story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure. His quest leads him to riches far different—and more satisfying—than he ever imagined. Santiago's journey teaches us about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, of recognizing opportunity and learning to read the omens strewn along life's path, and, most importantly, to follow our dreams.

Den är häftig, och unik i sättet den är skriven. Annorlunda men bra!
I caught this at the right time. I'm in the middle of a big leap of my own, and Santiago's journey resonated in a way it wouldn't have a year ago. The story captures the emotions and feelings that the difficult part was never the adventure...but the decision to leave the familiar behind, before you have any proof it'll work out.Don't usually read fables, but in this Coelho strips everything down until there's nowhere for the idea to hide, then trusts you to sit with it. It reads in an afternoon but it lingers a lot longer than the length suggests. Glad I finally got to it.
Wonderful. I couldn't put it down! Its a nice quick read but has an INTENSE impact with the lessons learned within.
