Ver todoI loved the first story. Amazingly it is quite close to many of the film adaptations. The second story is just a little strange and so I didn't like that style as much.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this fantastic and curious story, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. As a child, it was never my favorite movie, but now, as an adult, I found it utterly charming to be thrown into this whimsical world of talking animals and frozen time. While the movie was somewhat faithful to the book, there's a special quality in the original text that couldn't quite be captured in the adaptation. One of my favorite parts of the book was the final section where Alice converses with the Mock Turtle and the Gryphon. It's a beautiful moment where she finds companionship and understanding amidst the nonsensical world she's encountered.Reading the book as an adult gave me a new appreciation for its imaginative brilliance and clever wordplay. I now see why it has become such a beloved classic. The journey through Wonderland was truly enchanting, and I'm glad I revisited this timeless tale.
