The first big twist took me by surprise, and I stayed guessing until the last chapter. I loved that we bounced between two different timelines: learning the characters in the days leading up to the crime, and then following the police who were working on solving it. Twisty, gritty, and with realistic and relatable characters. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
