Descripción

In a future where self-driving cars have become the norm, the delicate balance of safety and technology is put to the ultimate test. A group of eight vehicles, controlled by an unseen hand, finds themselves on a perilous collision course. Every passenger is faced with harrowing decisions that will determine not only their fate but that of others as well. Tension builds as the characters, each with their own stories and secrets, grapple with their instincts for survival amidst the chaos created by a malicious hacker who revels in the power of choice in this deadly game.

The narrative immerses readers in a heart-pounding situation that raises profound questions about technology, ethics, and the human instinct for survival. As the tension escalates and the clock ticks down, the story unveils layers of humanity, forcing readers to confront their own values and the implications of their decisions. Each twist and turn keeps them guessing, while the consequences of choices ripple through the lives of innocent passengers caught in the crossfire.

Reseñas

Ver todo

Mr. Marrs is a demonic, evil mastermind, and I hope he never stops writing. As usual, I feel sick reading his books. They hit so close to reality and put a finger on so many societal problems that feel more dangerous and urgent now than ever.(I have to say I hated the whole romance plot — especially chapter 69. What the hell was that? Why? That was just unnecessary and stupid.)

I will read anything John Marrs publishes. His stories make me feel uncomfortable, scared, fascinated. I'm both scared to pick them up and incapable of putting them down. This particular story was much too close to reality for my own comfort.
