This is my second read of this book.4.5With this recent read I found more things I love about this and that I didn't appreciate before.Mara and Cole are hands down one of my favourite book couples I have read.With the continuation of this duet the plot was really interesting, the moments where they share their pasts with each other was difficult but made them more tangible and gave more depth to them as individuals as well as a couple. The way Cole boosts up Mara as an artist and as an equal in their relationship just adds to them being a great couple to read. While my rating for this book is higher than my first read it is slightly lower than the first book and that is only due to the conclusion with Shaw was left too late in the book, it wasn't that it was rushed but that it could have had more to it. That being said I still loved it and I will definitely read again.
Loved this duet. The first part was absolutely my favourite, although this is just as excellently written. I loved Cole's obsession. I could've read a whole other book with him finding new ways to stalk her. I just felt like this book was missing something. Good ending. Great characters. Had me hooked from start to finish. 4⭐️
