What Can We Make?

What Can We Make? is one of three books written and illustrated by John Prater which form part of the Language Patterns (Patterned and Natural Language) strand of Cambridge Reading for children in the Foundation stage/Primary 1 (aged 4–5). Three endearing characters feature in all three Hedgehog, Dragon and Bear. In What Can We Make? Hedgehog and Bear decide to get creative using boxes, paint and various odds and ends. This book is not only an inspiration for 'make-it' afternoons in the classroom, it also offers clear, patterned language, an easy to follow storyline and the usual Prater twist in the tale!
