As the summer unfolds, Arthur and Ben navigate the complexities of a burgeoning relationship sometimes riddled with miscommunication and the weight of past traumas. They connect over shared experiences and a mutual love for storytelling, but the realities of their limited time together loom large. Each moment they share is precious yet pregnant with the knowledge that summer always ends.
Through a beautifully woven narrative, the authors highlight the joys and trials of young love, exploring themes of hope, identity, and the courage to open oneself up to vulnerability. They delve into the idea that even the most fleeting interactions can profoundly impact one’s life and perspective.
In the mosaic that is New York City, where each corner holds a new adventure, Arthur and Ben learn to cherish what they have, even as they grapple with the bittersweet nature of their connection. It’s a story that resonates with anyone who has ever loved—and lost—during the summer, reminding readers that sometimes, the moments that scare us the most can lead to the most beautiful beginnings.

Ver todoIt's exactly what I expected a cute little romance book, but the ending was kinda meh
Mmmm.... no se que pensar acerca de este libro. Me hizo reír en ocasiones pero siento que no terminamos de conectar. Realmente esperaba otra cosa.
There is so much to love about What If It's Us. From its Heartstopper-esque vibes to an amazing (and hilarious) cast of characters, I was not ready for this book to end. The joy and awkwardness of young love, and the excitement and seemingly endless possibility of New York City swirled together and made What If It's Us a book I couldn't stop reading. There were so many clever laugh-out-loud lines and fun cultural references that made the book even more endearing (if that's possible).Arthur and Ben's story will be a comfort book for me to return to. Thankfully, there's a sequel. I can't wait to tune back into Arthur and Ben's lives.
