Descripción
Young Ted's Misery is about sex, crime, first love and how adults take advantage of him. Ted tells his wife about his boyhood. He experiments with sex as a six-year-old and continues until he marries. His dad dies when he is nine years old and his mom gives him up. In a foster home, he has an accident, and has an out-of-body experience. He steals a car, robs a store with his friend, and they head for California. They get caught and Ted is sent to a reform school and later escapes. He gets a job at the Belmont Hotel, and falls for a young lady. After the hotel closes, he moves to New York City and joins a gang that shake down the businesses in their turf and has gang wars. There is a murder and, in the end, a friend gets shot and killed.
