Pier Francesco Paolini, born in 1928, was an Italian writer, translator, poet, and playwright. He made his literary debut in 1969 with Relazioni irregolari, published by Feltrinelli.
Alongside his work as a writer, spanning novels, poetry, and occasionally plays, he maintained an extensive career as a translator for various publishing houses. In 1975 and 1977, he was included in the shortlist of candidates for the "Monselice Prize for Literary and Scientific Translation".
