This book was long overdue in my library, as I did not want to read it for so long. I just wish that I had not picked this up at all. I've tried really hard to like this book. Juliette's situation, her thoughts, and everything in between sometimes have such long descriptions that seem so flowery! Being descriptive is good; hence, figures of speech really do their job. HOWEVER, if it is repetitive and with such long descriptions throughout, IT WILL NOT BE THAT NICE TO READ.The characters feel too flat for me. I really couldn't remember anything aside from wishing not to finish this anymore. "All I ever wanted was to reach out and touch another human being not just with my hands but with my heart." This one struck me as I really felt bad for her. Not being wanted by anyone, yet longing to cling to hope and the desperation to touch anyone."I want to be the bird that flies away." I just hope that in the following books, she may be able to fly and get the freedom that she seeks. It’s just really weird for me how these two are her love interests. I get that they may have character development, but how can you pass everything that you have encountered and experienced with them as an impasse to finally choosing either one of them?
Really enjoyed rhis book. It kept my attention, and left me wanting more.
Hear me out. I read this book 4 years ago. And I still don't get the hate on the first book. The writing can look a little chaotic with the repeating words and scribbles but imo it's just Mafi immersing us in juliette's head. It was entertaining and that's all I was asking for. I forgot how annoying Warner was in this book haha. Adam's relationship with James is EVERYTHING. I actually wanted to cry at how much this guy *lives* for his little brother. Cool reread
This book is *chefs kiss*!!! For warnings though it does contain violence and murder. The main characters (Juliette) backstory snd personality is so well thought out the the story line is wow!
Hunger games meets X-Men 🫠 very typical dystopian romantasy . Quite an interesting story and soo far i am really enjoying it
Bah onestamente non so che dire, un libro brutto dovevo leggerlo quest’anno evidentemente…
The first 1/3 of the book was rough to get into but it did pick up and I’m definitely interested in seeing how the story unfolds.
Juliette and Adam annoys me too much. Thank goodness for Kenji (and Warner) for saving this book for me.
loved everything about this book
I flew through this book loved the short chapters and the MMC and FMC I love juliette and Adam's relationships from the start to the end brilliant character development cant wait to read the next one ❤️
I really liked it. Diving into a new universe was exactly what I needed, since I was this
i want to start this off by saying that i really thought that this book would be better than it was, but, that being said, i'm still going to read the rest of the series and i have a hunch that this series will get better as it goes on (especially considering what i've read of unravel me so far). also i didn't completely hate this book; i really liked many aspects of it!!the linework in this book is stunning. like truly i was blown away by how good it was. the only book i've read that has done this kind of beautiful hyperbolic writing other than this one is wintergirls and that's one of my all time fav novels specifically for that reason.i loved so many of the characters in this. juliette, james, adam, kenji, and warner my beloveds

Eu gostei.
