Surprised that there is a movie made. Right away I recognised her from the Divergent trilogy. (People across the world are slapping foreheads and going "of course!" The book is excellent and that's from someone who reads a lot of crime and thriller novels. If I can like it then it is good.

I thought John Green's take on cancer was different (although I hadn't read a lot of cancer books) and I loved reading from Hazel's perspective. I thought it was witty and funny and so heartbreaking but very very good and worth the money. I've loaned this to some of my friends and my mom and they all loved it and the movie. (Especially my best friend's dad). This isn't really a review, but I just wanted to say that this is such a good book and I highly recommend it.
I went into this book knowing I was going to cry and I wasn't expecting to cry THAT much. I absolutely fell in love with the character Augustus, I loved how the author wrote him. I felt really bad for him when he told Hazel about Monica and her brain cancer, that she used to laugh at him about his leg(or lack of legs...)
The last 100 pages made me cry. Such an emotional read!
I'm in love with Augustus Waters he's a beautiful character am I the only one who wishes he was real the whole time I read Peter Van Houton's scenes I was picturing William Dafoe the entire time
I think this is gonna be our gen classic and when the literature ppl come to check Goodreads I want em to know I rated it 5 stars.
Sooo good!!!!!!I have heard good things about this book in the past but it took me a long time before I actually read it . And let me say everyone was right about how good this book was . Yes, once the end grew near it got sad. But never boring and always touching
