I really enjoyed the first couple chapters but then struggled through the rest as it felt like it drug on and picked up in the last maybe 3-4 chapters.

The journey in the Duat, that is a very clear depiction. Even as I read this, there was a louder voice coming into my brain, as if it were a movie, a vivid imaginary image with clear depictions.
