Definitely had a few twists and gasping moments and eager to read the next book!
Definitely better than the first one. But I have to admit Juliette annoyed me SO MUCH in this book. Her whole pity-party vibe was unbearable, and honestly, I just can’t stand her romance with Adam because I simply do not like that man. So reading her being a victim 40% of the time, then 40% making out with Adam or crying over him, and only in the remaining 20% something actually good happening… yeah, it was rough. But still better than book one.I loved Kenji calling her out every now and then because he never missed. Iconic, I adore him. And poor Aaron, suffering like hell… I love him, there’s nothing I can do about it. I kinda wish Adam would just die or something, he’s such a pain and only gets in the way of the romance I actually want lol.Anyway, Juliette only woke up at the very last chapter, so I’m assuming the next book is gonna be really good. Now having to read Adam’s novella is what hurts. I’m gonna look it up and see if it’s REALLY worth it, or if I’m just skipping. I don’t think I can survive ten pages inside that man’s head.

Como descrever essa obra de arte? Muito bom. Amei cada segundo, devorei esse livro, li tão rápido que nem percebi. A cada capítulo eu ficava mais surpreso. Com certeza leria de novo se não fosse de saga. A escrita é super fluida e imersiva, esse livro fez valer a pena começar essa saga.

I loved this series and enjoyed the details of the sets and experience they had instead of just focusing on the main romance in the books.
What a book. I don’t always have a lot of time to read, but every single time I picked this one up, I genuinely couldn’t put it down. It pulls you in completely.Watching Juliette grow was incredibly satisfying. Tahereh Mafi does such an amazing job of letting us live inside Juliette’s head — her doubts, her fears, and the constant internal battle she’s fighting. But even more than that, you really see her begin to accept herself and step into who she’s meant to be, and that growth is powerful.And can we talk about Adam for a second?
The second novel was so much better. The plot was getting interesting, with occasional plot twists. However, this also meant sudden, rapid setting changes and confusing worldbuilding. Additionally, the lack of Warner in the first half made me sad (I discovered that he ends up with Juliette and read a little about him and swiftly changed to his side instead of Adam). Prose was slightly turned down which is good. Juliette didn't appear damaged at all due to her rushed healing, which I didn't like. Adam and Juliette's falling apart seems kind of unnecessary and rushed - there should've been a better reason.I see people disliking this book which confuses me because it's not that bad.

Oh boy, this book had me on my toes. The way the story progresses and all...truely amazing 10/10
In this book all the characters and relationships develop more. Juliette realises some things about herself. How she's become so dependent on Adam in order to feel sure of herself and to feel safe. She also realises that that needs to change. We see Juliette become stronger in this book, mentally and physically. She still may be confused and nervous about some things but she's getting there. She's finally been allowed to become the person she is after 17 years of oppression. I was 100% correct in saying in previous reviews that Kenji will be the comic relief that a book this challenging needs. I loved all his witty comments and jokes throughout this book. But we also got to see a small amount of backstory about Kenji which gives a glimpse into why he's so uncomfortable discussing feelings with anyone. Whether they be their feelings or his own. Hopefully we get to read more about Kenji's story in the future. Adam annoyed the hell out of me in this book. I get that he wants to protect Juliette from all the bad things happening in the world but he's holding her back! And when Juliette asks for space after discovering some news (don't worry, no spoilers here), he practically ignores her wishes and pressures her into doing the thing she didn't want to do. When it goes sideways, Juliette feels so much guilt for hurting Adam when in all honestly I believe its all Adam's fault. If he had just listened to her instead of being selfish about what he wanted, none of that would've happened. And he's so moody. He doesn't get his own way and he sulks. Which is very annoying. We also see Warner become more open in this book. In the Novella, Destroy Me, Warner reads Juliette's notebook and gets to see the darker parts of her mind. Gets you know her more intimately than anyone else does and I think this allows him to be more open and honest with Juliette in this book. In my previous reviews of the books in this series, I said that I didn't particularly like Warner's character but that I hoped that would change as I read more of the books. I'm glad to announce that that has happened! I'm officially Team Warner! Is he still all kinds of messed up? Sure. But we got to see the "human" side of Warner in this book. We got to see the raw emotion and how strong his feelings for Juliette actually are. I honestly can't wait to read more about him, he's such a complex character... Conclusion: Overall, I really liked this book. I'm not even sorry that I've already started Fracture Me... I need more Juliette and Warner, like right now. No one bother me.
