A Christmas Blessing

The third part in the Dr Blessing series; this story is best enjoyed after dark, after reading Dr Blessing's Curse and Dr Blessing's Rapture. Picking up five months after the events of Dr Blessing's Rapture, Dr Blessing's one-time assistant Niamh steals away into London one night to find a Christmas present for her adopted mother. She finds London ravaged by a plague, with danger down every cobbled lane and monsters in every shadow. The worst part for her is the rumor that the man she looked upon as her father, her former benefactor Dr Blessing, is to blame for it all. Niamh's guardians track her down by descending into the chaos of a city more prepared for annihilation than for Christmas. Desperation makes friends old and new seek out the exiled Dr Blessing in the hope that he can work a miracle.
