A Wish Can Come True

In the late 1800’s, a Sailor named John Tillet had fought for his life when the ship he was working on capsized in a freak storm near a small island in the Indian Ocean. For nearly 5 years, since her husband John’s disappearance, Emma had worked hard scrubbing shop front steps to make enough money to pay the landlords rent and feed Sam, her small son.Christmas was drawing near and Emma wanted so very much to buy a wooden toy train with the letters S.A.M. on the side for her little boy. Sam would be 6 years old on Christmas day but somehow she never had enough money left over at the end of the week to put by for the toy train. What was she to do?
