As with the two previous installments I really enjoyed reading about Area X. It is very well written and such an intense atmosphere is created. Whilst it didn't answer all the questions readers might have, I think it had enough to be satisfying. I don't think the actual plot was the key to enjoying this trilogy, more the writing and descriptions of Area X and the weird world created.
