Sadly, worse than book 1 and 2. This book was very boring and at times, it felt like a chore. Any stars are earned because, like the previous two books in the trilogy, it was beautifully written.
“Some people say there is a relief in the sharing of cares and pains. To me there was no catharsis, only an unearthing of rotting corpses of memories, a baring of still suppurating wounds.” What a ride… and it’s just the beginning of this emotional journey. The Farseer Trilogy was perfect. I’ve read a lot of books in the past few years and there are few I can say have been as good as these. I’ve learned so much from Fitz over the past couple months and I fear I am going to learn a lot more about myself in the upcoming books. I’m so happy to have found this world. Thank you Robin Hobb.
