This review will contain spoilers... You have been warned.This book had so much potential. The characters were fun and there was moments I found hilarious.What I didn't appreciate was the amount of times the word "darling" was used. Yes I understand that it is the FMCs last name but it was so over used it got to the point that seeing it made me cringe.I won't say much on the relationship between Jameson and Mia, it was up and down and sometimes they would act a certain way that would really annoy me and make me either want to throw my book or jump in said book and smack some sense into them.My main issue with this book is the plot... The plot was utterly atrocious. What was the actual point of all those moments mentioning Mia's sister and her husband and the way her husband seemed to know about where she was because of his reaction when Mia told her sister. Yet it was the last page of the book we get more of that but not enough to answer who he was or what he did.... nothing! It was so frustrating.Then there is the introduction of Franny's mom right at the end??? Then it was dealt with within 2 chapters?? WTF?! Also Mia getting annoyed at Jameson for not saying things to her and making out like he didn't trust her yet she kept things from him and she has to understand that his actions spoke more than what his mouth held back but no she had to have a tantrum and leave knowing it would upset Franny and potentially get Archer in a lot of trouble.This whole storyline made me so mad to the point I am unsure if I will read the next one.2 stars is purely for the funny character moments, the plot has 0 stars!!
