Another CoHo I finished in one sitting and, yet again, another CoHo punch to the gut. Her stories never fail to make me cry and this one hit a little close to home. Sky and Holder have an intense connection from the moment they meet and realize their lives are more entwined than they could have imagined. The first half reads like a cute highschool romance but then the second half takes you on a heart wrenching ride. Another solid read from CoHo about self-discovery, raw childhood trauma, and knowing that sometimes knowing the truth can feel more hopeless than believing the lies.
Wow. Read this book in one day, much to the dismay of my family and things that needed to get done. I even got annoyed when I got interrupted, which is rare. This book has the feels though. There were only maybe 2-3 instances the main character annoyed me, but they were brief, luckily. Otherwise the plot and storyline for this book was fantastic. There are some topics in the books others may want to avoid due to their nature so please be mindful of that and any trigger warnings. Overall I thought this book was well done.
Aquele tipo que deixa um gosto amargo na boca no final. Eu ja estava esperando algo desse tipo, mas o desenrolar foi bem pior. O motivo pela qual ela fora adotada pela Karen, o que eu achei ótimo depois que li todos os detalhes. Dean, maravilhoso. Incrível como CoHO faz personagens tão apaixonantes e que apesar de tudo sempre fazem e fala o correto. Enfim, amei cada min, não consegui largar ate terminar. Ja quero sofrer com os outros livros da Colleen.
