I loved this book so much omg !!Sarah Bailey has hands down, written one of the best dark romance RH I have ever read. (Edit to add that over 2 years later and more dark RH, this statement still stands). She's not given anywhere near enough credit for this book and series. We have characters with a lot of depth and wildly separate personalities, which in a RH, doesn't always happen. I will forever recommend this book and series.-> 4.5 starsI am thankful for receiving this book as an ARC. All opinions are my own.
Carnage is not a romance that plays fair..it’s a full-blown descent into obsession, power, and unresolved history wrapped in a dark, contemporary retelling of the Four Horsemen mythology. From the very beginning, the tone is heavy, controlled, and almost predatory in its intensity. The Four Horsemen..Drake, Francis, West, and Prescott Ellis (Pestilence)..aren’t just powerful men in the financial world. They feel like forces of nature shaped by something violent in their past. They rule their world with the same cold precision they use to handle everything else, and that dominance sets the stage for everything that follows.Carnage is a brutal, addictive start to the Four Horsemen series. It blends mythology, corporate power, and deeply personal history into a story that feels both intimate and destructive.
