Okay… I finally understand the hype 😭🔥
Fourth Wing completely pulled me in. I went into it expecting a good fantasy book, but I did NOT expect to get this invested this quickly. The dragons, the world-building, the training, the danger, the friendships, the tension… there is ALWAYS something happening 👀🐉
Violet is such an interesting main character because she has to survive in a world where basically everything is working against her, and watching her figure things out while pushing herself further and further was so exciting.
And then there’s Xaden… 👀😭 The tension between him and Violet is INSANE. The banter, the distrust, the little moments, the chemistry… I was absolutely eating it up 😂🔥
What I really enjoyed is that the book keeps giving you little details that make you start forming theories, only for something else to happen and make you question everything again. I genuinely found myself stopping to think, “WAIT… WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?” 😭
The dragons are also one of my favourite parts. They have so much personality, and the whole concept of dragon riders and their bonds adds such a cool layer to the story.

Overall, Fourth Wing is the kind of book that makes you want to immediately talk to someone about EVERYTHING while simultaneously telling them “I’m not telling you anything because I don’t want to spoil it.” 😂😭
If you enjoy fantasy, dragons, romance, danger, strong friendships, plot twists and characters you can become completely obsessed with… you NEED to give this one a chance. 🐉📚🔥

This book got me back into reading after not being able to find anything to read for months and I couldn't put it down.
I loved seeing the way Violet grew and became her own person, I loved seeing her relationship develop and both crumble as she realized her best friend betrayed her.
There were many times that my jaw was on the floor or I had tears in my eyes (mostly Liam's death) and had to go to friend whose read it in all caps because I needed to speak about it.
I definitely enjoyed it and I can't wait to see how Violet and Xaden's relationship will regrow in the next book.

Extremely juvenile, I'm too old for this. It was mostly porn and wishfulfilment.
Em contraste com a romantasia lida antes dessa, a trilogia do vilão, essa me envolveu completamente no mundo, além de eu gostar MUITO mais quando a narraçao com POV é feita em primeira pessoa, eu me senti muitas vezes na pele da Violet, ficava aliviada em todas as provas que ela passava, como se fosse comigo. E principalmente: desenvolvi uma relação parassocial com Tairn e Andarna, esses dragões são MEUS!!
Apesar do meu envolvimento, é perceptível que o livro parece um grande “quebra-cabeça” de várias fantasias já conhecidas. Além disso, senti falta de um desenvolvimento mais aprofundado dos personagens secundários, muitos deles parecem estar ali apenas para sustentar a jornada da Violet e do Xaden.
E sobre o casal principal: fiquei apaixonada, mas também senti que faltou um pouco mais de construção emocional. Talvez mais cenas e diálogos que fortalecessem a conexão entre eles, em vez de depender tanto do vínculo criado pelos dragões.
Apesar dos meus contras, eu gostei da história, principalmente por fugir um pouco da temática de fantasia que leio, trazendo dragões. Ansiosa pra continuar a história e espero me arrepender das reclamações que pontuei nesse.
Hát ebbe aztán minden is volt harag ellenségek szerelem dráma aggodalom. Tetszett hogy tudtam szeretni a fő karaktereket és a kettőjük közötti feszültség fantasztikus volt. A sok fordulat néhányat tudtam néhányat sajnos lespoilereztem magamnak de voltak meglepőek is. És ez a cliffhanger a végén hát én má most folyatni akarom ezt tovább!
It didn't match the hype for me.. I expected something different I guess... I do love Harry Potter and Hunger Games and it felt like such a mix of the two but something just didn't draw me in fully. The end shocked me though and I may see what the rest of the series is like... Possibly.
Fiquei bastante fã da saga. Ansiosa pelos próximos!!

Este libro me saco de un bloqueo lector de 10 años. Léelo fue espectacular, fácil lectura, mundo perfectamente estructurado, personajes atrapantes, una trama bien pensada, te hace hacerte hipótesis, amor y sexualidad emocionante te deja queriendo leer un capítulo más.
