The Innkeeper Chronicles is a new series for me and a new world, which I really enjoyed. The characters are all robust, yet not perfect ... and the humor is fun. Gertrude Hunt, is a bed & breakfast like no other, owned and run by Dina Demille. The little subdivision where the B&B is located is a quiet, quaint area. So when dogs end up kill by an unknown beast Dina cannot sit by without figuring out why. Although, set in Red Deer, Texas this 'world' spun by the husband & wife team that make up Ilona Andrews is intergalactic and magical. 4 stars.
